Are you challenged painting marine vessels, ships and boats?   Do your boat look like bananas bobbing on the water? In this class, Barbara will share many of the techniques she uses to paint BOATS OF ALL SIZES – making the subjects and water believable, reflective of surroundings and subjects as well as colorful.

Participants using any medium are welcome because composition, value and drawing techniques may be used by all artists using any medium.  Demo will be given in oil.

What to bring:   

• Photographs of water scenes with boats.

• Reference materials will also be provided by instructor

• Your regular art supplies

• Brush that will be used to draw the paintings (not pencil or charcoal)
