“Let’s Talk About Greens”

Spring is coming and so are all the different types of greens Mother Nature has to offer. Let's get together in the studio of Pat Rini Rohrer and prepare for the variety of greens that are about to emerge in the next several weeks.
I will demonstrate how we can gain depth and variety in our paintings by subduing the greens we see in the distance compared to richer greens that appear in the foreground. We will cover basic design to include the initial simplification of abstract shapes, drawing, value structure and color; while painting the beautiful vistas from photos you've taken while on vacation.
Or bring in any photos that you would like to paint using your ipad or printed photos. I will demonstrate my methods and techniques for landscape painting to achieve a sense of reality, yet still see thick juicy paint on the surface.
Individual instruction will be given both days as you work on your designs. Bring the supplies you're most comfortable using. As always, you can borrow any of mine.
Maximum 8 attendees per workshop day!!
