Kathleen Connor
Long-time resident of Canandaigua, Kathy Connor enjoys painting with her Wednesday night colleagues at the Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery, and has been for the last several years.
Kathleen is a graduate of Nazareth College with a Master’s Degree in Art Education and Special Education. After her lengthy and successful career as a teacher, she now devotes her time to Plein Air painting, in oil, which has become a rewarding endeavor for her. Travels and adventures continue to inspire her work. Over the years, Kathleen has got to know other painters during the Finger Lakes Plein Air Festival. As a result, she has studied under David Lussier, Lori Putnam, Nancy Tankersley, Sara Linda Poly, and George Van Hook, all highly respected national Plein Air Artists. She believes “to be creative means to be in love with life and all the things that surround you.”
