The Spirit of Art Celebration: 15 Years of Making Art Happen in Downtown Canandaigua October 7 – November, 2017

For the past 15 years, the Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery has supported and strengthened the artistic spirit of downtown Canandaigua! We are so proud to be part of the creative fabric of this vibrant community.
Pat Rini Rohrer is a Canandaigua-based artist who holds a BA from Notre Dame College and an MS from Nazareth College, both in Art Education. Her studio art studies include the Cleveland Institute of Art, Alphonsas Dargis Studio, Rochester Institute of Technology, Thomas Buechner Studio, and the University of Rochester. She has exhibited paintings in galleries nationally, participated in group exhibitions, and been a respected juror. Through the years, she has guided many artists as their teacher and painting mentor. She is co-Founder of the Finger Lakes Plein Air Festival, now in its 7th year, and currently teaches “Studio II” classes at the Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery.
The gallery showcases more than 150 works of art by local, regional and nationally recognized artists representing a wide array of talent and mediums. These works celebrate the scenery of the region and the charming towns of the Finger Lakes. The gallery also showcases contemporary abstractions. and artwork created as a result of our artists’ travel around the world.
Introducing new gallery artist: John Lang
John Lang is a Western NY Metal Artist creates waterfalls sculptures made of steel. He is a professional designer and artist for more than 25 years, even working for world renowned sculptor Albert Paley.
